Advanced mode Start with Simple mode

Collect only the operational data your site needs. These controls affect the IP cache, validation logs, and statistics separately.

Privacy and IP cache

IP anonymization masks stored addresses. Cache expiration controls how long a lookup result remains available, while the garbage collection interval controls cleanup frequency.

Advanced privacy and IP cache controls
Anonymization, cache recording, expiration, and cleanup are independent controls.

Logs, statistics, and cleanup

Advanced validation log and statistics controls
Recording scope and expiration determine how much diagnostic history is retained.
Group Controls Use
Privacy controls Anonymize IP address Masks the final part of recorded addresses.
IP cache Record cache, expiration, GC interval Controls lookup reuse and cache cleanup.
Validation logs Recording scope, expiration, POST keys Defines which decisions and request fields are stored.
Statistics and cleanup Record statistics, period, clean uninstall Controls aggregate history and uninstall removal.

Retention requirements depend on your site and jurisdiction. The plugin provides controls, but your organization chooses the appropriate policy.
