Version 1.4.2 kept the IP Location Block Cloud provider working during the iplocationblock.com domain outage and moves the default page for blocked visitors.
Highlights
- Cloud provider on api.iplocationblock.net: IP Location Block Cloud lookups and quota checks now use api.iplocationblock.net, which restored them while iplocationblock.com was unavailable. Account and documentation links in the plugin were updated too.
- Configurable API address: Define
IP_LOCATION_BLOCK_API_BASEin wp-config.php to point the IP Location Block Cloud provider at a different API address without a plugin update. - New default blocked page: The default page for blocked visitors moved to geoblocked.im. Sites still using the old default are moved over automatically; custom redirect URLs are not changed.
Compatibility
- Requires WordPress 6.5 or newer and PHP 8.1 or newer.
- Required for sites that use the IP Location Block Cloud provider.
